Cedar Park is 16 miles north of Austin, TX, and is a booming community! Growing both residentially and retail/commercially. There is so much to do in Austin! It is known as the live music capital of the world. The area has tons of concerts, hiking, tex mex restaurants, and lakes! It is a huge football community! Cedar Park High School won the state football championship in 2012 & 2015. Cedar Park is home to two top-level minor league professional teams – The Texas Stars of the American Hockey League and the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Cedar Park, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Cedar Park Owners
Steven & Rochelle Tramel
Steven and Rochelle have lived in the Austin area for more than 15 years. Rochelle enjoyed her work in the medical field but missed having a creative outlet. She’s always had a passion for creating and crafting — a passion cultivated by her mother and grandmother. She remembers as a child sitting with her family around the dining room table where they would crochet, sew, decoupage, paper mache, paper cast, scrapbook, make wreaths, and tie-dye… they did it all! In 2016, Rochelle began working part-time at Board & Brush Cedar Park and eventually became the manager of the Belton, Round Rock, and Cedar Park locations. She quickly fell in love with the process, the workshops, and the people! Steven works for a local Tech Company but has always dreamed of owning a business. When the opportunity to become the owners of Board & Brush Cedar Park, it was a no-brainer for them. They are grateful for a career that allows them to be creative, fun, social, and crafty!
Steve and Rochelle have six children and one granddaughter. They love spending time near the water, whether at a beach, lake, or river...it’s where they enjoy their time together with family and friends!
