Bend is a city in Central Oregon located south of Portland. It is a great place to enjoy the outdoors including festivals, music, kayaking, and more! Mount Bachelor is a well-known ski hill just a short drive away. Bend is known for the hiking opportunities, mountain views and shopping.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Bend, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Bend Owner
Nicole Raspotnik
Meet Nicole, the face who you will see most at Board & Brush Bend! Although the studio is owned by both Dan (her husband) and Nicole, she instructs the workshops, takes care of the media, inventory, and workshop prep, etc. On occasion, he will chip in but has a full-time gig as a high voltage substation tech.
Nicole was a school teacher and learned quickly how to stay organized, work with large groups, and be creative. All of which will come in handy at the studio! Nicole has a horse and loves to ride out at the barn as much as possible, she also loves animals, listening to live music, and taking in all things Central Oregon. Dan is always ready to support where he can. Whether it is building wood projects or working as an assistant in a workshop, he is the best. Dan loves to fly fish and tie his own flies!
Dan and Nicole decided to open a Board & Brush because they love what the company represents and the fun and rewarding experience the workshops will offer their community! Nicole and Dan were raised in Wisconsin and moved to Central Oregon 9 years ago. The family has three dogs, one cat, and a horse. They love the mountains, hiking, and all the outdoor activities Bend has to offer.

Board & Brush Bend is located on the backside of the Cascade Village Shopping Center one door down from Moose Sisters and diagonally across from Left Coast Burger Co. Cascade Village Shopping Center offers ample parking on either side of the studio.
